What a way to close out my 2019 wedding season! Friday was the definition of a fall day! The temperature, the color palette and even the thick clouds that made it a little extra overcast! It was beautiful! Kevin and Paige officially became husband and wife! Surrounded by so many family and friends, they said I do and walked back down the aisle to a string quartet and joy written on their faces! Along with that joy in the form of a smile, we also saw it in a few tears as the day went on! There aren’t enough fingers on my hands to count the times when I’d glance around and see bridesmaids fanning their eyes to keep the tears from rolling down or the Paige’s laughs during the vows because she couldn’t get through them without choking up! Those moments are honestly my favorite! The ones when the emotions just come out! They’re raw and real and the best thing to do is just let them flow and not care if you get a little extra mascara down your cheek!

Kevin and Paige’s day took place at Rolling Meadows Ranch in Lebanon, Ohio! I’ve been eyeballing this venue for a while because it’s in my neck of the woods! It’s literally five minutes down the road from my church camp, so I was totally in my element! There are actually rolling hills to accompany the name of the venue and it made for the most gorgeous portrait locations! We didn’t get to do as much exploring as we wanted, just because the sun decided to hide from us behind a few clouds! But even the places right near the barn were just perfect!

One thing that was so evident throughout the wedding day was just how Kevin and Paige compliment one another so well! The phrase opposites attract could totally described in their relationship! Paige is a little more outgoing, talkative and bubbly while Kevin is balanced, a bit more reserved and just calm. They are strength to the other’s weakness. There were so many times during portraits when Paige would just help Kevin to laugh and be carefree and then times when Kevin would make Paige laugh with his witty comments! So, as you look through their portrait section of the blog post, just know that those laughs didn’t (just) come from my great jokes or conversation skills behind the camera ;).

Altogether, their day was simply wonderful! I loved every moment of celebrating this new journey with Kevin and Paige! Enjoy viewing some of my favorites from their wedding!
