When Dennah Renee joined The Brand Plan for Round 2, she had a solid business and serious skill. But even with years of experience and offers she was proud of, she felt like something was missing.

“It felt like I was using a whole bunch of buzzwords that sounded good but didn’t actually say anything. I had a brand, but I didn’t have language.”

She’s a brand photographer, coach, and the founder of The Quarter Co.—a small cohort community for creative women built around accountability, quarterly planning, and business rhythms. As a multi-passionate creative, she wanted to make sure her brand had layers without becoming confusing.

“I wanted a brand that was multi-dimensional but didn’t feel chaotic. I didn’t want it to be a mystery what I was about. I needed more than vibes—I needed a strategy.”

How were you feeling about your brand and your business before the Brand Plan?

“I had all these skills and things I do—but they weren’t translating in a way that made sense to other people. I was starting to realize that just being good at what I do wasn’t enough. I needed people to get it.”

She felt like she was second-guessing every decision. “Do I post this? Does this sound like me? Does this make sense?” There was no throughline—just a swirl of effort.

Was there a moment when you thought, I can’t keep doing it like this?

“I had this moment where I was like—I can’t keep second-guessing everything. I would open Instagram and just close it again because I didn’t know what to say. It wasn’t just about social media, though—it was every part of how I was trying to show up. I didn’t have a plan, I didn’t have language, and it was exhausting.”

What stopped you from moving forward before?

Dennah had tried other courses. But they always left her trying to fit herself into someone else’s system.

“I’ve taken other courses, and they just gave me a framework and told me to figure it out. I needed help putting it all together. I wanted someone to tell me what I wasn’t seeing.”

So, what about The Brand Plan caught your attention?

“I didn’t want another ‘here’s how I built my brand—go do it like me’ situation. I wanted real help clarifying my voice. I wanted to sound like myself, not a bunch of borrowed phrases.”

“The Brand Plan wasn’t a template—it was a mirror. And I really needed that.”

What shifted once you were inside the cohort?

“Everything. It really was the structure and the feedback. I needed someone who could hear what I was saying and then reflect it back to me in a way that was clear.”

“It helped me see that I was doing a lot of things right—I just didn’t have a strong enough message to hold it all together. Once I had that, everything clicked.”

The big aha: My brand wasn’t working–because I hadn’t given it words.

“That was the biggest shift for me. I finally had language that held everything together. It wasn’t about changing who I was—it was about finally saying it clearly.”

“Now when people land on my site or Instagram, they get it. They feel connected. I don’t have to explain myself so much anymore. My brand speaks for itself.”

How is The Brand Plan still impacting you and your business today?

“It changed the way I show up entirely. I don’t spiral about what to say anymore. I have clarity—and that makes everything faster. I’m not reinventing the wheel with every post or idea.”

The clarity she gained became a filter for decision-making.

“If it doesn’t align with what I’ve written down in my Brand Plan—I don’t do it. It’s that simple. And it works.”

She also shared a reel about her unfinished quilting projects—something she wouldn’t have posted before the Brand Plan—and was blown away by the response. “People DM’d me weeks later still bringing it up. That reel connected in a way I didn’t expect. And it’s because it was real. It was true. And now I know how to share that way on purpose.”

What would you say to someone on the fence about joining The Brand Plan?

“You’re worth it. It’s worth it to invest in your clarity and your ability to move forward with peace and confidence.”

“I’ve done other courses, and I always ended up more confused than when I started. This is the first one that actually made me feel like I could show up and sound like myself.”

“The Brand Plan isn’t just worksheets—it’s guidance, reflection, and structure that makes sense of all the pieces you already have.”
