It was one of the warmer fall days that happen in Ohio. I met Thomas and Caroline in the Historic Neighborhoods of the Oregon District in Dayton and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful night! Between the sunshine and the hint of fall colors, it was just perfect! More than that though, I had the best time with these two! I don’t really think there was a moment when we weren’t either chatting or laughing at Thomas’s witty comments! He definitely kept the mood light the entire time!

Thomas and Caroline are college sweethearts and met during their freshman orientation at Anderson University! After being friends for a while, Thomas finally won Caroline over and they began dating late that fall! Five years later, Thomas decided it was time to propose! He had a few people he knew he wanted to include, especially their friends from college! And after listening to the song September, he checked his calendar and realized that “the 21st night of September” was one of the days they’d thought about having their friends come to visit! So! The plan was set in motion and Thomas and Caroline got engaged under the stars on a bridge at Austin Landing!

These two are so fun to be around and definitely a pair who can make you feel like an old friend real quick! We had no problem capturing some magic at their engagement session! Enjoy viewing some of my favorites! I’m so excited to photograph their wedding next fall at Reverie!
