A fun, fall engagement session in is already one of my favorite ways to spend an evening, but when you add in Jon, Natily and their adorable puppy Moxxi! Nothing can even compare! We had an absolutely perfect night filled with so much love, laughter and adventures!

You could say that I have been waiting for this post for a long time! Why? Well, because I knew these two before they even went on their first date! That’s right! And now they’re getting married! But, I’m getting a little ahead of myself!

Let’s roll it back a bit to when they first met! It all started at a youth group winter retreat in the mountains almost two years ago! These two didn’t know it then, but God had something amazing planned for their stories! For the longest time they were “just friends”, at least that’s what Natily thought! But after a conversation where she mentioned her idea of a perfect first date, Jon planned a special trip to see an orchestra at the Schuster Center in Dayton! That night was the beginning of their journey towards love!

Earlier this summer at a church picnic at Camp Lebanon, Jon proposed in a pretty unique way! They were serving together and Jon “spontaneously” decided to go help some kids on the pedal boats that are typically around the pond. The real reason though was because he had hid the ring in one of the boats and had planned to propose after pedaling out to the middle So, with Natily still completely unaware of what was about to happen, they climbed in and Jon proposed right there in the boat! Surrounded by a crowd of their family and friends, they celebrated the beginning of this new season of life!

Jon and Natily are getting married in May of next year at the same place he proposed, Camp Lebanon! And I could not be more excited to witness the day they become Husband and Wife! God has such a special plan for their lives and watching it unfold is going to be epic!
