Weddings are always such a joy to photograph, but when it’s for a dear friend, it’s extra special! Every minute of Sam and Sara’s celebration at Bel-Wood Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio was sweet, joyful and just the best picture of all the things that make these two so unique! The torrential downpours stayed away, the sun shined on and it really was just the best day!

Getting the chance to know Sara better over the last few summers as we’ve both spent numerous weeks out at Camp Lebanon has been a gift! We’d had many mutual friends over the years and grew up going to the same camp, but we were never too close. It wasn’t until Sara became the art director and I began photographing/teaching that we became fast friends! It’s funny how life circles back around and the Lord brings people back in to your life at just the right time. Sara is one of those! I love how encouraging she is and honestly, she’s just the most genuine friend! And it’s not just me saying that. I heard it from countless people throughout their wedding day!

Sam and Sara had also distantly known one another through high school, but it took a pandemic and the cunning-ness of two friends for them to go on a date! And as per the words of Sara’s maid of honor, they just clicked. You could say the rest is history, but it’s really just the beginning of this journey for Sam and Sara!
