Hi, I'm Rachael

This wedding celebration has been a longgg time coming! And my excitement to document it has just increased as the days have gone on! Thomas & Elise were originally scheduled to tie the knot last October, but when another spike of Covid arose, they decided to postpone until the spring. In that process, Elise took a chance on something she’d always dreamed of, a wedding at her grandparents farm in the countryside of Hamilton. Let me tell you, that decision definitely paid off and you’ll see real soon just how beautiful the entire day was!

I first encountered the genuineness of Thomas and Elise when they originally inquired for their wedding sometime early last year! Elise and I instantly hit it off in our emails back and my favorite part was her passion for her faith that bled through into every part of our conversations, even from that first message! So, when we met in person for their engagement session last spring, it was more like seeing an old friend because so much connection had been forged before that day!

Saturday was the sweetest culmination of all the things that Thomas and Elise hold dear! Not to mention. The best party to celebrate it all at the end! Their family rallied around them to bring everything to fruition through the smallest and biggest details and it was so cool to watch it unfold!

They pulled in so many fun details as a nod to their relationship and the things they enjoy, like a short worship service during the ceremony and a coffee truck at the reception! Does it get any better than sipping an iced coffee while photographing some dancing shots, I don’t think so!

Thomas and Elise, thank you so much for letting me walk through this season with y’all and be the one to document your wedding day! It was absolutely beautiful and I’m beyond excited to see what they Lord is going to do through you in this next season of your lives!

Couldn’t end this without acknowledging their awesome vendor team!

This daddy/daughter first look was one of the sweetest moments of the whole day!

It had been cloudy all day long with little mists of rain, but the sun came out during portraits and it was glorious! The glow makes all of these so magical!

Coffee cart for the win! This was such a fun addition to the reception! Proud Hound Coffee, you da best!

Thomas & Elise decided to squeeze in a “last dance” just the two of them before the sparkler exit!

And! Their amazing videographers, MAK Photo & Film, already compiled a highlight reel! You’re going to want to see this!
