The moment I saw Shelby’s inquiry email file into my inbox, I was ecstatic! We go way back, well as far as high school at least! Shelby was my counselor at camp one year and became close friends with my older sister, Sarah! That friendship turned into Shelby being in my sister’s wedding and I can remember just how much fun she helped make Sarah’s wedding day! But now, it was her turn! I loved getting the chance to both celebrate and document Tyler and Shelby’s wedding on Friday at The Windamere in Middletown!

The ceremony is always one of my favorite parts of a wedding because it’s what the whole day is truly centered around. Becoming husband and wife. And I always, literally, get a front row seat as I crouch down in front of the first row to catch everyone walking down the aisle. One of the best parts of that is getting to see the groom’s face through my camera as he sees his bride turn the corner and walk down the aisle toward him. On Friday, Tyler’s eyes lit up and the smile on his face showed every bit of excitement as Shelby made her way toward him. And she mirrored his excitement!

Tyler and Shelby! I’m beyond excited for the two of you and this new chapter of your lives as husband and wife!
