Sequoia Digital is a team of consultants, designers, and developers who know the startup world from the inside out. Their specialty? Building products and guiding early-stage companies from idea to launch.
When the team gathered in Cincinnati for a working session, it was a chance to capture the people behind the projects — headshots, team portraits, and working scenes that would serve as the foundation for their new website and marketing.
Brand Shoot Day
We worked out of Fueled Collective at Rookwood Exchange in Norwood, a space that holds meaning for their founder, Abhi, and matches the brand’s aesthetic and color palette. With the team in one place — a rare moment for a group spread across the country — we had the opportunity to go beyond the basics.
The original request was simple: headshots and a team photo. But through creative direction and efficient use of our time, we built a broader visual library. We captured:
- Polished headshots for each team member
- Team portraits that highlight collaboration
- Working shots with wireframes, post-its, and laptops — the behind-the-scenes process of product design
- Developer moments and quick b-roll for future use
- Group discussions that feel both corporate and approachable
Why It Matters
For many businesses, especially distributed teams, brand photography is more than a nice-to-have — it’s how you build trust before the first conversation. Brand photography gives companies the chance to show their personality, professionalism, and process all at once. For Sequoia, these images didn’t just check a box for a website launch; they gave the team a cohesive presence and a library of visuals flexible enough for LinkedIn, presentations, and future marketing campaigns.
The gallery gave Sequoia Digital what they needed most: photos that let them show up as a united, professional team.
