Create a full suite of images for a ten-person nutritionist and dietitian practice? You got it.

I loved getting the chance to work with Clem&Thyme Nutrition based in Dayton, OH—one of those shoots where the scope is big, but the heart of it is simple. This work was about giving their brand visuals the caliber of the business Leslie has built since their rebrand in 2017.

A lot had shifted between that rebrand and the time we planned this shoot. What was once a more founder-forward practice had grown into a ten-person team offering deeply personalized care, all housed in their renovated farmhouse in Yellow Springs. It’s warm, welcoming, and intentionally down-to-earth—the kind of place where clients can walk in and immediately feel a little more at ease.

That feeling mattered. So much of Clem&Thyme’s work centers on helping people feel better through a different relationship with food and nutrition, and their photos needed to reflect that lived experience rather than simply document who’s on the team.

Our shot list was filled to the brim with four core storylines that mirror how the practice actually operates day to day. We photographed client experience, the team at work, time spent in the garden, and the educational side of their practice. From tending and harvesting produce that’s shared with clients and staff, to time in the kitchen where they cook together and host classes, to consult spaces where real conversations happen.

Rather than over-styling or over-explaining, we focused on working images. People interacting. Teaching. Listening. Moving through the space the way they always do. Photos that feel grounded and human, and that can flex as the team and practice continue to grow.

The atmosphere Leslie has cultivated—both in her space and within her team—is empowering. It was an honor to create alongside them and build a library of images that reflects the reality of the business they run every single day.

These images now live across their website, marketing, and client-facing materials—showing future clients exactly what it feels like to walk through the doors at Clem&Thyme and start feeling better.
